The Modifero Essential Passenger Seat is designed for professional minibus, passenger van, shuttle and vehicle conversion projects where durability, efficient use of interior space and cost control are more important than additional rear-seat trim and passenger accessories.
The Essential configuration retains the core passenger seat structure and upholstered seating surfaces while using an open-back design without a full rear cover or passenger tray. This makes it a practical starting point for commercial passenger transport and fleet conversion projects that do not require the additional equipment of our Comfort and Premium seating ranges.
Designed as a Complete Vehicle Seating System
Although individual product images may show a single seat, Modifero passenger seats are primarily intended to be configured as a complete seating layout for the vehicle.
A typical minibus conversion may combine double seats on the left side, single seats on the right side and a four-passenger rear row. A representative vehicle configuration could therefore include approximately 4 × double seats + 3 × single seats + 1 × four-passenger rear row, although the final arrangement may contain more or fewer seating positions depending on the vehicle, required passenger capacity and conversion layout.
The final seating configuration is determined according to the individual vehicle project rather than by the product image shown on this page.

Essential Open-Back Configuration
The Essential model is intended for projects where the functional passenger seating requirements are the priority. By eliminating the complete decorative rear shell and passenger tray of higher equipment levels, the seat provides a simpler and more economical configuration without positioning it as a lower-quality seating product.

Custom Upholstery for Your Vehicle Interior
Passenger vehicle interiors vary considerably in colour, materials and design. For this reason, Modifero passenger seats are produced to order and the upholstery specification can be agreed with the customer before production.
Different fabric or leather upholstery colours, material combinations and stitching patterns can be selected to coordinate the seats with the intended vehicle interior. This allows even the cost-efficient Essential configuration to be visually adapted to the overall conversion project.
Optional Functions According to the Project
Depending on the seating layout and project requirements, additional functional options can be discussed during configuration. These may include rear-mounted footrests and, where required, lateral seat movement to increase aisle access.
Available options and their suitability may depend on the selected seat position and vehicle layout and should therefore be confirmed before ordering.
Documentation for Professional Vehicle Conversions
Product documentation and applicable certification information are available for the passenger seat range. Because seating installation forms part of the overall vehicle conversion, the required seat configuration, installation arrangement and documentation should be evaluated according to the intended vehicle and project.
Produced to Order – Not a Finished Stock Item
Modifero passenger seats are generally produced according to the confirmed vehicle seating project rather than stocked as finished seats. Seat quantities, single/double/rear-row configuration, upholstery and selected options are agreed before production.
For European orders, production and delivery planning is coordinated with our consolidated transport cycles to our Budapest, Hungary distribution point. Estimated availability therefore depends on the order date, production schedule and the current Turkey–Budapest shipment phase and is confirmed with the customer during the quotation or ordering process.
