Conquer the high ground clearance of your Iveco Daily with the Modifero Electric Sliding Step. Available in multiple sizes (40cm, 50cm, 60cm, 80cm, and 100cm), this heavy-duty 12V automatic step is engineered for high-frequency passenger transport and rugged overland motorhomes, featuring a 100% rust-proof aluminum build and uncompromising EU-certified reliability.
The Iveco Daily is known for its robust vehicle construction and comparatively high entry height. For minibuses, passenger transport vehicles, campers and motorhomes in particular, this can make frequent entry and exit more demanding. The Modifero Electric Sliding Step provides an additional stepping surface below the vehicle entrance, helping to reduce the height passengers need to overcome when entering or leaving the vehicle.
Depending on the vehicle and installation application, the automatic aftermarket system is available in 40 cm, 50 cm, 60 cm, 80 cm and 100 cm widths and is suitable for professional vehicle conversions as well as camper, motorhome and fleet projects.
The required step width can be selected directly on this product page. The product price is automatically adjusted according to the selected size.
The main body and stepping platform are manufactured from high-quality aluminum. The robust and corrosion-resistant construction is particularly suitable for vehicles used intensively on a daily basis and provides strong resistance to moisture, road dirt, road salt and changing weather conditions.
The electric step is controlled by a robust mechanical switch mounted at the door frame. When the side sliding door is opened, the step automatically extends; when the door is closed, it retracts beneath the vehicle. Important note: This model does not include an automatic obstacle or reverse sensor. Before opening the door, the deployment area must therefore be checked to ensure it is clear of curbs, objects and other obstacles.
For vehicles with a higher floor level, an additional step can make entry and exit considerably easier. The Modifero system combines an automatically extending stepping platform with vehicle-specific mounting components for the Iveco Daily, providing a practical aftermarket solution for a wide range of vehicle applications.
When the door is opened, the additional stepping surface becomes automatically available. After the door is closed, it retracts to its compact position beneath the vehicle. This makes the system particularly suitable for vehicles where comfortable access and frequent entry and exit are important.

Why is an electric step particularly useful on the Iveco Daily?
Because of the comparatively high entry height, an additional stepping surface can make getting into and out of the vehicle considerably easier. This is particularly useful for passenger transport vehicles, minibuses, campers and motorhomes.
Which step width can I select for my Iveco Daily?
Depending on the vehicle and installation configuration, 40 cm, 50 cm, 60 cm, 80 cm and 100 cm widths are available. The required size can be selected directly on the product page, and the price is automatically adjusted accordingly.
How does the automatic step operate?
A mechanical switch at the door frame controls the system. When the sliding door is opened, the step automatically extends; when the door is closed, it retracts again.
Is the step suitable for frequent commercial use?
The robust aluminum construction and mechanical door control make the system suitable for applications where the step is used regularly, including shuttle, minibus and other professional vehicle applications.
What is the maximum load capacity?
The reinforced aluminum construction is designed for loads of up to 150 kg.
Why does the step not have an obstacle sensor?
This model uses direct mechanical door control and does not include an automatic obstacle sensor. Before opening the door, the deployment area of the step must therefore be checked to ensure it is clear.
How long does installation take?
For a first installation, an experienced technician or professional vehicle converter can typically complete the mechanical and electrical installation within approximately 1 to 2 hours.
