The Modifero MOD-03 SafetyEdge+ system converts the existing manual sliding side door of compatible Fiat Ducato vehicles from 2006 onward into an electrically operated automatic sliding door. The vehicle-specific twin-motor platform is designed for campervans, motorhomes, shuttle vehicles, passenger transport and professional conversions.

For the European SafetyEdge+ configuration, the active safety edge strip is included as standard. If the safety edge detects an obstacle during closing, the control system reacts to the signal and reverses the door movement, helping protect people and objects in the doorway.

The Fiat Ducato is widely used as a base vehicle for campervan and motorhome conversions. Motorized operation reduces the effort required to move the large side door manually and provides controlled opening and closing during frequent daily use.
