The Mercedes Sprinter is widely used for premium camper and motorhome conversions, shuttle and VIP vehicles, minibuses and professional special-purpose vehicles. This compatibele Modifero electric step adds an automatically extending boarding level to the side entrance while clearly remaining an independent aftermarket product.
The step automatically extends when the sliding door opens and retracts underneath the vehicle when the door closes. Available widths are 40 cm, 50 cm, 60 cm, 80 cm and 100 cm; the required size can be selected according to the vehicle and installation configuration.

Dagelijks gebruik en integratie in het voertuig
Bij professionele Mercedes Sprinter ombouwprojecten moet de breedte van de opstap worden gekozen op basis van de configuratie van de zijdeur, de beschikbare ruimte onder het voertuig en het beoogde gebruik. De uitvoeringen van 40, 50, 60, 80 en 100 cm maken het mogelijk het opstapoppervlak af te stemmen op campers, motorhomes, shuttles, minibussen en speciale voertuigen. In ingetrokken toestand blijft de opstap compact onder het voertuig, zodat de zijtoegang tijdens normaal gebruik vrij blijft.
Door de automatische werking hoeft de opstap niet afzonderlijk te worden bediend bij iedere in- of uitstap. De mechanische deurschakelaar stuurt de beweging aan op basis van het openen en sluiten van de schuifdeur. Omdat dit model geen automatische obstakelsensor heeft, moet vóór het openen van de deur altijd worden gecontroleerd of het uitschuifgebied vrij is.
